Speech For REPUBLIC DAY Of INDIA 2023
My dear fellow citizens,
As we gather here today to celebrate the 74th Republic Day of India, I am filled with a sense of pride and gratitude for the progress and achievements of our great nation. Today, we commemorate the adoption of our Constitution on January 26th, 1950, and the establishment of India as a republic.
As we look back over the past year, we can see that our nation has faced many challenges, but we have also achieved much. We have seen the success of our nation's vaccination drive, which has provided hope and protection to millions of citizens. We have also seen the resilience of our people in the face of adversity, as we have navigated the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
But we have also seen progress in other areas. Our economy has continued to grow, with GDP increasing by an estimated 8% in 2022. We have also made significant strides in the field of science and technology, with the successful launch of several satellite missions, and the establishment of a new National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre.
And, as we look to the future, we are filled with hope and optimism. We are committed to working towards a more equitable and inclusive society, where every citizen has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We will continue to focus on the development of our rural areas, with a renewed emphasis on providing basic amenities like electricity, clean drinking water, and sanitation.
We are also committed to ensuring that every citizen has access to quality education, and we will be investing in the development of our schools and universities, as well as providing more opportunities for vocational training.
We are also committed to building a more sustainable future for our nation. We will continue to invest in renewable energy and work towards reducing our carbon footprint. We are also committed to protecting our natural resources, and we will be taking steps to preserve our forests, rivers, and oceans.
My fellow citizens, as we celebrate this Republic Day, let us remember the sacrifices of those who have fought to give us the freedom and democracy that we enjoy today. Let us also remember our duty as citizens to contribute to the growth and development of our nation.
Together, we can build a stronger and more prosperous India, where every citizen has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Thank you, and Jai Hind!
